Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Manager provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to global Talent Acquisition team and staff who provide recruiting support to hiring managers across the company.  The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for filling positions in the company by sourcing viable candidates and assessing their suitability to the company. #LI-Remote

Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  1. Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
  2. Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  3. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Fills senior-level positions within all departments, as well as all positions in operations, administrative and management departments
  2. Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates
  3. Develop a sustainable talent acquisition and hiring plans and strategies 
  4. Design, plan and execute employer branding activities
  5. Plan employee referral programs
  6. Use HRIS, Recruitment Marketing tools, such as ICIMS and Linkedin, Twitter, etc.
  7. Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast
  8. Design, plan and execute selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls, etc.)
  9. Reviews employment applications and background check reports, extend offers and and offer letters
  10. Perform candidate and employee satisfaction evaluations
  11. Plan procedures for improving the candidate experience
  12. Suggest measures for improving employee retention 
  13. Attend and organize career and college fairs, and similar events
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

 Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, in all countries.
  2. Thorough understanding of the CRO business and position requirements
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  7. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  8. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  9. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  10. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  11. Hands on experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards
  12. Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools, such as ICIMS, Dynamics 365, Linkedin, etc.
  13. Ability to motivate employees
  14. A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  15. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  16. In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
  17. Familiarity with a variety of different selection methods  (interviews, assignments, psychological test etc.)

 

Working relationships:

 

  1. Typically reports into the VP of Human Resources
  2. Interaction with all levels of management and employees within the organization
  3. Liase with all hiring managers and HR team on a daily basis

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field required
  • At least 1-2 years experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar HR role
  • At least 5 years of recruiting experience required. Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
  • At least 2 years of CRO recruiting experience
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
  • Proficient knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases, such as ICIMS
