This is Important Work

As a Patient Recruitment Assistant, you will be responsible to support the Associate Director, Patient Recruitment with the planning, development and execution of Patient Recruitment and Engagement strategies appropriate to the awarded study needs. Your Role

  • Support Associate Director, Patient Recruitment, in the preparation of presentation materials for Kick Off Meetings, Study Team Meetings, etc. as needed
  • Attend and support Associate Director, Patient Recruitment, at Kick-Off Meetings and project meetings to discuss recruitment and retention strategies/tactics, as needed
  • Assist in the development and execution of patient recruitment and retention activities, including the management of vendors, the development and review of materials, and media campaigns
  • Collect and organize recruitment metrics from sites, vendors, and internal teams
  • Track IRB/EC submission, translations, and material production and distribution
  • Work effectively with Associate Director, Patient Recruitment, Clinical Research Associates, and project managers to discuss recruitment strategies and enrollment targets;
  • Work with Associate Director, Patient Recruitment to ensure lessons learned are documented and case studies developed
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials for Pharm-Olam’s patient recruitment services
  • Perform ad-hoc projects/tasks as needed.

Required Education and Qualifications

  • Able to communicate with team members clearly and concisely
  • Able to troubleshoot potential issues and make decisions with input from line manager
  • Able to manage time effectively to meet daily metrics and team objectives, independently with regular oversight/guidance from line manager
  • Accountable for own deliverables



  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences or marketing, preferred
  • Prior experience in clinical research, patient recruitment experience preferred
  • Excellent computer (word-processing, databases, Excel, Windows), organizational, project management and communication skills
  • Experience working with Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus
